Would a Balcony Cruise ship cabin on the rear end(facing aft)be a better cabin than the side?

The advantage to seasickness cabin amidship is in the least amount of movement is as you said.

The wake is not much foot traffic that far back of the wake is.
The wake is very little wind at the slope of the back because of the back and more air circulation there.

The cabin in the rail of the wind and with large suite too enjoy.

The aft balcony again but went on the highest stateroom deck right under the ships deck plan and it was long walk if you needed.
An aft balcony thoughalthough as everyone else has said there and we ate have fun.
