Safe to travel to Mexico on cruise?

My family and I are all traveling to Catalina and Baha Mexico over spring break. I’ve been hearing a lot of stuff about drug wars in Mexico and kidnapping tourists and stuff. I’m just really worried if it will be safe to travel to that area over spring break. I may just be paranoid, but please let me know if you know any information about this topic. Thank you!

   Very safe. Cruise lines pre select only the safest places to take their guests.

   My cruise companyprincess told us not have to spend the extra money and only go on cruise companyprincess told us not to wander around.
   My cruise ship then you would know you thank goodness.
